The test presses were approved in the last week of April and we’re super excited.
The Specific Heats will be playing Windy Pop Weekender on Sept 26th, 2026 at Subterranean in Chicago, IL.
We’re incredibly honored to be included among a stellar lineup of bands, including The Sofites, Dressy Bessy, and one of our biggest influences, Rocketship!

Order “Decaydes Later!”
We’re coming at you with Decaydes Later (Nov 1, 2024), an all-new EP recorded in 2023 featuring three recent songs and official studio recordings of two tunes fans may recognize from live sets on our last go-around. Decaydes Later is currently in production at RPM in Denmark, the most eco-friendly pressing plant on the planet. We’re stoked to be back and feel the EP simultaneously picks up where we left off and gets back to our roots.
The gang was back at Mystic Valley Studios this summer (where most of “CURSED!” was recorded) and has started working on a new full-length.
